June 3: The Flavours of the Wolesome Mind Part 3: Listening to our conscience

When we listen and respond to our conscience (in Pali: Hiri Ottappa) this is wholesome. If we don't listen to our conscience it leads to remorse, which is a hindrance.



June 13 The Flavours of the Wholesome Mind Part 4: Learning the art of balance

The final four flavours of the wholesome mind that co-arise are uprightness, balance, tranquility and proficiency


June 20: Disembarking the Praise and Blame Roller Coaster

The Buddha's thorough teaching for greatly reducing the negative power of praise and blame in our lives.



June 24: Retreat with Beth Upton

Beth Upton is the meditation teacher of many of us at the Canmore monastery. We are hosting her for a retreat here in Canmore next Feb. This is a rare and precious opportunity to practice with this gifted teacher. Registration for this retreat opens July 1, 2025 and closes July 30th.
