Loneliness Abolished

"Throughout my life, I have experienced profound isolation, which resulted in an enduring sense of loneliness that persisted despite being a deeply introverted person. No matter what I tried in an effort to “rise above” these painful feelings, nothing ever truly worked. Eventually, I began to wonder if this suffering was an inescapable part of the human condition.

To my astonishment, when I began learning and practicing the Dhamma, those feelings of loneliness dissolved entirely. In their place arose a quiet, steady sense of connection—to others, to the world, and to life itself.

I have come to see that when the teachings on No Self and Dependent Origination begin to sink in to a certain level, the feeling of “I am different” and “I am alone” simply falls away. It’s not forced or contrived, but gently vanishes.

Being introduced to the Dhamma has been the greatest gift of my life. I am deeply grateful to both Ayya Ahimsa and Sanghamitta for their tireless efforts in sharing these transformative teachings with others."

Thank you!  Diane Gareau
